Admire the Neo-Gothic architecture of Iglesia de las Carmelitas, an impressive 20th-century place of worship. Constructed between 1929 and 1954 and designed by architects Guillermo Armas and Alberico Isola, the church takes clear influence from across the Atlantic, with Notre Dame of Paris its obvious inspiration.
