Rising high above the Sequoia and Kings Canyon national parks, Moro Rock Trail offers some of the best views in the area. Almost all of the park areas can be seen from the top of this 2,050 m (6,725 ft) tall granite monolith. The rock's vertical sides are nesting grounds of peregrine falcons, as well as rock climbers' heaven. If scaling sheer cliffs isn't your favorite way of getting around, head for the 400 steps that lead to the summit. Even though you'll have railings and rest areas, the stairway is steep, and the hike up can be strenuous. The rest areas provide nice views for those who don't like the heights or who can't make it all the way to the summit. The steps might be inaccessible during bad weather. This is a moderate climb of stairs to the top of Moro Rock. The view of the valley and distant mountains is great.

UNREAL experience! Been here twice in one year already, and the views are absolutely spectacular! Definitely not for the faint of heart, as some spots seems to be extremely narrow with not TOO many railings or safety. We got to witness someone tightrope walking across from another edge of the mountain to Moro Rock, which was the coolest thing I have ever seen! A must visit when visiting Sequoia National Park!

Stunning views! The 360 view at the top is breathtaking, and access to it is very straightforward, so it should be on the bucket list of every nature lover and outdoor enthusiast. Just absolutely brilliant. My English isn't good enough to put into words what I felt there, but anyone visiting Sequoia national park MUST visit this.
