  • Of the themed casino resorts on the strip, NYNY is the best looking inside and out in my opinion. Food vendor area has noir-era New York look and is enjoyable to walk around. The Big Apple Roller Coaster was my favorite ride on the strip. It's not centrally located on the strip, but not to bad with easy access to MGM Grand, Park MGM, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay. Room was dated but nice, and the hot tub was honestly very nice to soothe the joints after a long day of walking. Mobile check in was easy enough, as was self parking. The next time I stay in Vegas, I'd be likely to choose it again.
  • This hotel has a nice atmosphere the gaming section is vast with a high ceiling and offers many non gaming services. The roller coaster of course is a unique added attraction. It can get very busy especially when there is a game on at the T-Mobile arena. We were there for thanks giving week so we saw a huge fluctuation in people. It is of course very spectacular from the outside with its New York style skyline. It's a good start point for a tour of all the big hotels on the strip. The rooms themselves are good in size but relatively basic in amenities. No coffe making facilities, mini bar etc. But I suppose this is deliberate. The food is quite expensive in the restaurants but this is to be expected at Vegas. There are some free drinks and stuff available for the gamblers only. The rooms could do with a bit of a freshen up but they are clean and the towels are changed every day. Most time is spent elsewhere so not a big deal.
