Famous for being the birthplace of the Beatles, Liverpool is a vibrant city with an outstanding cultural heritage.
Get some historical perspective at Powis Castle and Garden and Plas Mawr. Appreciate the collections at Royal Air Force Museum Midlands and Lakeland Motor Museum. Change things up with these side-trips from Liverpool: Pontcysyllte Aqueduct (in Wrexham), National Trust - Chirk Castle (in Chirk) and The British Ironwork Centre (in Oswestry).
