Culebra — 1 night

Little Island

On the 16th (Wed), enjoy the sand and surf at Playa Punta Soldado Beach, enjoy the sand and surf at Playa Carlos Rosario, and then kick back and relax at Playa Tamarindo. On your second day here, see the interesting displays at Museo Historico de Culebra, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Playa Zoni, and then step off the mainland to explore Culebrita.

Salt Lake City, USA to Culebra is an approximately 14-hour flight. The time zone difference moving from Mountain Standard Time (MST) to Atlantic Standard Time (AST) is 3 hours. Plan for much warmer temperatures traveling from Salt Lake City in January, with highs in Culebra at 84°F and lows at 73°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Thu) early enough to travel to Rincon.

Step out of the city life by going to Cascada La Mina (La Mina Falls) and Kayaking & Canoeing. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Santa Maria Magdalena de Pazzis Cemetery and Paseo de la Princesa. When in San Juan, make a side trip to see Zipline in Rio Grande, approximately Rio Grande away. There's still lots to do: browse the exhibits of The Poet's Passage and view the masterpieces at Walter Otero Contemporary Art.
