Stroll along the boardwalks of Malecon, with sea and sand on one side and charming local shops and restaurants on the other. Local artisans sell their craft throughout the day along this boardwalk, with plenty of tasty spots to eat or to enjoy beachside cocktails. The clear calm waters make it great for snorkelling and swimming, or lie back on the golden sands and catch some rays. Enjoy a saunter in the cooling breeze as the sun sets across a selection of bars hosting your evening's entertainment. • It was nice to stroll along and enjoy the view of the Caribbean Sea on one side and open air restaurants on the other. Sometimes free range horses would stroll along. Take pics with the Caribbean...

  • The Malecon is THE spot in Esperanza. If you're here, you will end up on the Malecon. There's just not much else other than the beaches. The esplanade itself can be walked in about 8 minutes...

  • Great place to watch the Sunset having a drink from one of the restaurants from the malecon strip
  • La Esperanza! I fell in love with this beautiful city because of its people and the nice beaches. The sand is not my favorite as is too rough and not powdery but still beautiful. Lots of quenepas trees and expensive restaurants but there’s food available if you get hungry. There’s a swing on a coconut palm right on the beach and sea glass of you look.
