The secluded, golden sand of Praia do Camilo, surrounded by Baroque-like cliffs and grottos, features a soft ocean floor as well as precipices with mysterious alleyways. Nestled at the bottom of a cliff, the small beach can be accessed either by descending more than 240 stairs or by boat. Spread your towel across the warm sand and catch some rays, and swim in the calm turquoise waters, sheltered from strong winds. At the top of the cliffs you'll see a restaurant, where you can try some freshly caught fish while taking in the wide open views of the ocean.
