  • I loved the gallery Namu, and bought a painting and a pair of ear rings. The owner was a very, well travelled Irish/Canadiian a most interesting character. lovely things in the shop.

  • Really nice shop and great owner, who is happy to explain the pieces and their origins. Prices are very good for the quality and authenticity - this is a fair trade gallery, not a cheap souvenir shop. However, there were items for every budget and I think you’ll be very satisfied. Lots of masks, wood carvings, paintings, and neat reproductions of the pre-Colombian jewelry you saw at the museums. Be aware that due to Covid-19 staffing issues, you should definitely call or text the shop to set up a meeting time! He is very willing to drive in, just for one group of people. Can either ship or pack for you to carry home.
  • Cute little fair trade Gallery that offers art pieces from indigenous and local artist. The owner is a really cool guy, Conall that is very knowledgeable about the Indigenous and pre Hispianic art , paintings , sculpture of Costa Rica. Definately a place to go see..you won't be disappointed. Side note: the name NAMU is from the Bribri tribe and indigenous group in Costa Rica. Namu is name for their sacred animal, the jaguar.
