  • We went to Baldi on a lark because our kids wanted to go on water slides. Little did we know, until reading the reviews afterwards, how dangerous the slides are! Lucky for us, we tried the slides...

  • To be honest we were thoroughly impressed. The place is super clean. People super friendly. The food in particular some of the best we have ever had. The complimentary breakfast is just super. Everything very fresh and obviously local. The hot springs are great. We were here Thursday through Sunday and it does get crowded on the weekend.
  • Amazing place! Everything was great and all the people working there really friendly. If you expect to see sloths and monkeys out of your window, you will probably be disappointed, but squirrels, iguanas, butterflies and birds will make your experience on the room's terrace and around the resort unique. We even saw an anteater in the restaurant when we were having breakfast one day! There are a lot of things to do in the area for all ages too, so our family stay with kids and older grandparents went great. The only thing that can be improved is the menu in the restaurant. It gets quite boring when you spend 10 days in the resort like us. They could offer some daily changes to the menu (may be a different daily specialty) just so you don't start to not wanna see another Mediterranean salad at the end of your stay (the best item in the menu according to me). What they offer in their buffet restaurant wasn't very good too. They do offer free taxi ride to the near town and restaurants (included in the hotel's price) so you can eat out. The laundry service is also pretty expensive and because of humidity everything gets wet and doesn't dry well here, so you might wanna consider visiting the laundry place in the town.
