National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa

I would like to really recommend this place for people. First of all, you can look at the parliament building at good location. Secondly, this museum has a variety of art works. Especially,I really liked that this museum had a lot of paintings by famous artists, but not necessarily their most famous works. It made me realize that these artists had also created such paintings, and I really enjoyed being able to see their less well-known works.

The collections are absolutely wonderful. You will find multiple concepts under one roof, which appeal to many. Even if you're not a fan of art, this is a great place to visit for a few hours. I truly enjoyed the "General Idea" exhibit. They had many exhibits that would make you stop, ponder, be in awe, and walk away with a greater appreciation for art. I would highly recommend visiting as they admission in inexpensive (20$ for adults, 10$ for students with your card). It was a great way to spend an afternoon and learn about various artists.
