  • Close to the border with Chile is this stunning mountain, the highest peak outside of Asia. Various treks can be undertaken from the base. Aconcagua looks very imposing to all surrounding mountains...

  • This is a beautiful national park with stunning views, well worth a visit. It’s very easy to get to on Andesmar bus (5.55 am at time of writing 🥱) Be warned - buy your park ticket on line in advance....  more

  • Beautiful! Beautiful!! Beautiful!!! Walking is on a gravel path. The day was warm and breezy (the end of March). Take your time, walk slowly and take in the views. The air is much thinner at this altitude so don't rush when walking up. There are gradual down hills and flat areas to catch your breath. Enjoy!
  • Espectacular! You know that feeling you get as you drive up to a mountain that keeps getting more amazing as you reach there. We went in for the short 1h trekking, and were surprised that although we didn't really go up, it's freezing. Yes, even in the summer! Make sure to bring a jacket and long pants. If not you might be able to rent a jacket for 600 pesos, but no pants.
