Eden Hotel, La Falda

Walk through the rooms and hallways of history and mystery at Eden Hotel. Built by German hoteliers in 1897, the hotel was one of the most exclusive establishments in Argentina. In the hotel’s heyday, its guest list included many famous names, such as Edward the Prince of Wales, and Umberto II of Italy. The hotel, however, gained notoriety for its owners’ sympathies toward the Nazis during World War II, which gave rise to many conspiracy theories. The most famous story tells that Adolf Hitler didn’t commit suicide in his Berlin bunker but escaped to Argentina and lived the rest of his life in this hotel.
