During a Staycation, my wife and I took the People Mover from my Brickell office and checked the place out. The acquaria were awesome, and the exhibits top notch. The planetarium was fine, and I under... more »
Шестиэтажный музей науки Патриции и Филиппа Фроста расположен на привлекательной, ухоженной территории. The museum contains a planetarium, an aquarium and a lot of interactive exhibits with reliable scientific information about everything in the world. The museum is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is recommended to visit the museum on a day off, as many schoolchildren are brought on weekdays. A ticket to an adult museum costs $29.95, and the site can be bought for $2 cheaper. The ticket price includes a visit to one show in the planetarium. There are 4 shows in the planetarium. The site has a detailed description of each. When you check your ticket, you are immediately asked to choose a session. We went to the "Journey to the Stars" show. An exciting 20-minute story about the life and death of the stars. Using six 3D projectors and 3D sound. The dome is located so that it fills everything in the field of view and gives the impression of flying.
This place gets so much positive mentions I had high expectations. It did not disappoint!! It was so hot and they had plenty of indoor ac to keep us entertained for 4 hours! Planetarium show was mesmerizing, even the elevators were an experience. So much interactive stuff for even a 1.5 year old I can't wait to go back! So much in Miami disappoints for the price... This is not one. I recommend to anyone. My son loved all the aquariums the most.
Great for all ages. I went with my nephew (11yo), my niece (8 yo) and my daughter (1 yo). We all had fun! At some point I needed to nurse my daughter and the staff was so nice finding me a private place to nurse her immediately. 5 stars to the staff! Thank you for your kindness!
