An urban waterfront site, Bayfront Park covers 13 hectares (32 acres) of downtown Miami. The park features a beach area, rock garden, waterfalls, monuments, sculptures, and an amphitheater. Famed sculptor Isamu Noguchi designed the park in 1980 and included three of his sculptures: the Slide Mantra, the Challenger Memorial, and the Light Tower. Amble along the boardwalk for views of the waterfront, or explore the paths within the park for close-up views of Noguchi's sculptures. Find the plaque marking the spot where Franklin D. Roosevelt avoided a possible assassination attempt in 1933, which claimed the life of Chicago's mayor, Anton Cermak. Bayfront Park Reviews
Schöner Jogging- und Spazierweg am Wasser. Coole Skyline von Miami. Viele Yachten ziehen ab einem vorbei und es gibt immer etwas zu gucken. more »Beautiful jogging and walking trail by the water. Cool skyline of Miami. Many yachts pass from one and there's always something to look at.
We had a great time looking at the ocean and relaxing while watching the views! We visit every vacation. more »
We were visiting from Texas. We were there during spring break season. It was nice and not too congested. They had live music and lots of shopping and eating. They had a lot of popular stores from the mall to shop at. They also have boat tours that you can book right on the pier. There are a lot of boats out there. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxing. I enjoyed myself here.
Beautiful park with ample green to sit down and enjoy the afternoon. Parking is bit limited to get to the park though. On weekends, Bayside will charge you up to $25 flat rate for parking, and to park on the municipal street garage... well, let's say you're gonna spend a lot of time waiting for a spot to open up. But that would definitely not be $25
