Incredible place with an incredible story! We were able to stop by without a reservation and got the tour. This organization has an incredible story (I won't spoil it here) and has a really relaxed environment. My wife and I were extremely glad that we stopped in for the tour and got to enjoy watching a therapy session. I would highly recommend this place if you are in Key Largo.
This place is simply amazing. Starting with the staff: every single person there is nice from the bottom of their heart. Everyone is friendly and caring and great at working with kids who have their challenges. Everytime we are there we feel cared for. The property: I love walking around inside as well as outside. They have a natural lagoon for the dolphins to live in together with untreated water that connects the Atlantic and the gulf. Sadly we couldn't be there after 2016 for now so we can only tell from photos what the impact of Irma was but I suspect they could only grow from that. Coming to the best part of every stay: the therapy It's not a therapy just for your child but rather the whole family. Working in the class room everyone is involved which strengthens the family bond. They are flexible in whether you swim first and then work or the other way around. After 45 minutes of 'class' you get to swim with the dolphins. The trainers are nice too and just being at the dock with the child in the water it is so magical. Dolphins are very sensitive and special animals who are able to look into your soul. They make you feel comfortable and I can't wait to go back. I would like to give more than 5 stars
