  The Brooklyn Botanic Gardens is a little sister to the Botanical Gardens in the Bronx. Do not confuse the two. In Brooklyn you will find lovely paths and specimens of all things growing in the Northeast, it is relatively contained. It is beautiful in the Spring, but less enchanting in the heat of the summer. It is a lovely walk outside after you have visited the Brooklyn Museum next door. My suggestion is to do both in one day.

  Very nice place with great exhibitions! There was a wedding taking place when I went last and it does seem like a beautiful place to get married! Really laid back vibe and easy to move around. Compared to the Bronx Zoo it's actually easier to walk around and things are closer to each other. The BX sometimes carts are required especially for those not prone to walking. I'd go again if I'm around Brooklyn and definitely kid friendly 😁.
