Experience the thrill of air combat in an F-16 at Flightdeck Flight Simulation Center. Put on your flight suit, then get briefed on aircraft controls and flying maneuvers before heading into one of the eight F-16 simulators. Cruise down the runway and begin a dogfight as you go head to head with other pilots. After the battle, test your landing during day and night conditions. Hang out afterward in the officers' club and compare your scores. Guests can view and listen to all of the action on large LCD monitors, as well as hear the interactions between pilots. Boeing 737 flights are also available for 30-, 60-, or 90-minute intervals. You can choose from several levels of missions for more advanced training. Advance reservations are required. Flightdeck Flight Simulation Center Reviews
I wanted this to be great but it wasn't. Staff were friendly but the product wasn't up to modern-day standards and was riddled with faults. The main screen in front, in the actual cockpit, wasn't show... more »

The organization is perfectly run, with precondition: briefing in a room with a mini handle in hand to get used to (the same one you will have in the simulator), dressing with a flight suit, cockpit quite nice, with the cockpit canopy closed almost like on a real plane, helmet with microphone and exchanges with the control tower (be careful, everything is done in English! But there's no real need to talk if you don't want to). For the first mission, we find ourselves at the controls of a Mirage 2000 (yes a French plane in the USA!), and we take off, then we get used to flying it and making turns, then we finally find ourselves doing 15 minutes of fighting against the others Participants. Finally, we are repositioned in the final to an airstrip where we have two tests to land. We were even treated (very exceptionally because other participants were celebrating their birthday) to an attempt to land at night on an aircraft carrier! It stings your eyes! A totally great experience, we just want to go back to do the following missions (which apparently increase realism, and where we fly on other types of aircraft, such as F14 and F18). It is possible to fly a Boeing 737 in another room.
This is a wonderful place to visit if you are in the area and want to experience something different. Just to point out their customer service is wonderful! They opened the place for us to come in and play! Anyways, we come in they tell us about the tutorial and how to fly the plane simulation. There is a uniform you can wear to be fully immersed and the list goes on. I just want to say one thing the sheets at the end to show who won are spot on! Keep up the good work guys!
It was an interesting one-time experience to try flying. While my results were less than to be desired, I’m glad I gave Flightdeck a try because new adventures are exciting. I found the session to be well-organized, with detailed training. The uniform added an authentic pilot look, and the assistants were patient and friendly. The simulator was great. If I were to make a suggestion, I’d add motion to the plane as some arcade rides have. But the event was a good deal overall.
