Banjul, officially the City of Banjul and formerly known as Bathurst, is the capital of The Gambia and is in a division of the same name. Explore Banjul's surroundings by going to Gunjur Village Museum (in Gunjur), Kartong (The Reptile Farm & Lemonfish Art Gallery) and Fort James Island (in North Bank Division). Spend the 20th (Mon) exploring nature at River Gambia National Park. Spend the 19th (Sun) exploring nature at Kiang West National Park. There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Kotu Beach, tour the pleasant surroundings at Bijilo Forest Park, make a trip to Arch 22, and hunt for treasures at Albert Market.
