As Valencia’s second largest city and one of the most well-known along the Costa Blanca, Alicante has an enchanting atmosphere that blends rich history with animated beach life.
On the 1st (Wed), get engrossed in the history at Museo Arqueologico de Alicante and then explore the historical opulence of Castillo de Santa Barbara. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: put a fun spin on your tour with Lockdown Escape Room, then stroll through Playa de Levante, then take a stroll through El Casco Antiguo de Benidorm, and finally appreciate the extensive heritage of Placa del Castell.

Madrid to Alicante is an approximately 3- hour train ride. You can also fly; or drive. Plan for a bit warmer nights when traveling from Madrid in April since evenings lows in Alicante dip to 13°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 2nd (Thu) early enough to go by car to Valencia.
