Drive from San Juan to Arecibo in an hour. Traveling from San Juan in October, expect nights in Arecibo to be about the same, around 75°F, while days are little chillier, around 85°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 9th (Fri) so you can go by car to Fajardo.

Fajardo is a small city and municipality in Puerto Rico (U.S.) located in the east region of the island, bordering the Atlantic Ocean, north of Ceiba and east of Luquillo. On the 10th (Sat), head off the coast to Icacos Island, kick your exploration up a notch at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks, and then stroll through Big Tree Trail. Traveling by car from Arecibo to Fajardo takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of car and shuttle; or fly. October in Fajardo sees daily highs of 88°F and lows of 76°F at night. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 11th (Sun) to allow time for the car ride to San Juan.
