Fátima is a civil parish in the municipality of Ourém, in the Portuguese Santarém District. Your inner history buff will appreciate Basilica de Nossa Senhora do Rosario de Fatima and Castelo de Leiria. Step off the beaten path and head to Basilica da Santissima Trindade and Basilica of the Holy Trinity. Change things up with a short trip to Aqueduto dos Pegoes in Tomar (about 36 minutes away). There's lots more to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Capela Das Aparicoes, make a trip to Valinhos Sanctuary, pause for some photo ops at Museu do Santuário de Fátima, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Paroquia de Fatima e dos Pastorinhos.
