Barcelona, the country’s second-largest city, is a cosmopolitan urban center known for its throbbing youthful energy and stellar architecture.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Basilica of the Sagrada Familia and Casa Batllo. When in Barcelona, make a side trip to see Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey in Montserrat, approximately Montserrat away. There's much more to do: walk around Parc Guell, test your team's savvy at popular escape rooms, don't miss a visit to Casa Mila - La Pedrera, and enjoy the sand and surf at Playa de La Barceloneta.

Cadaqués is a town in the Alt Empordà comarca, in the province of Girona, Catalonia, Spain. Bring the kids along to Ciutadella de Roses and Far de Cala Nans (Cala Nans Lighthouse). Venture out of the city with trips to Monasterio de Sant Pere de Rodes (in El Port de la Selva), Butterfly Park Empuriabrava (in Castello d'Empuries) and Aquabrava (in Roses). Known for its Mediterranean climate and vibrant beach community, Salou serves as the tourist capital of the Costa Dorada.
Start off your visit on the 10th (Fri): delve into the distant past at Anfiteatro de Tarragona, then get in on the family fun at PortAventura, and then stop by La Vinoteca de Salou. On your second day here, admire the local landmark of Illuminated Fountain, don't miss a visit to Avenida Jaume I, and then make a splash at PortAventura Caribe Aquatic Park.

You can drive from Salou to Begur in 2.5 hours. Other options are to do a combination of train and bus; or take a bus.
