3 days in Arecibo Itinerary

Arecibo is a municipality on the northern coast of Puerto Rico (U.S.), on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, located north of Utuado and Ciales; east of Hatillo; and west of Barceloneta and Florida. San Juan to Arecibo is an approximately 1-hour car ride. While traveling from San Juan, expect slightly colder days and about the same nights in Arecibo, ranging from highs of 34°C to lows of 28°C. On the 16th (Wed), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel to Arecibo.

Kick off your visit on the 16th (Wed): pause for some serene contemplation at Catedral San Felipe Apostol. On the next day, appreciate the history behind Birth of the New World Statue - Cristobal Colon Statue, then Head underground at Cueva del Indio, and then visit a coastal fixture at Arecibo Lighthouse & Historical Park.
