Charlotte, USA to San Juan is an approximately 7-hour flight. The time zone difference moving from Eastern Standard Time to Atlantic Standard Time is 1 hour. In November, San Juan is much hotter than Charlotte - with highs of 87°F and lows of 76°F. On the 4th (Tue), you're off to Culebra.

With much of Culebra a nature refuge, the tropical island has been protected from overdevelopment, chain hotels, and the cruise set.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Culebrita Lighthouse as well as Culebrita. On the 5th (Wed), visit a coastal fixture at Culebrita Lighthouse and then step off the mainland to explore Culebrita. Here are some ideas for day two: discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour.

Fly from San Juan to Culebra in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of shuttle, taxi, and ferry. In December, plan for daily highs up to 85°F, and evening lows to 75°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Thu) so you can fly to Arecibo.

Arecibo is a municipality on the northern coast of Puerto Rico (U.S.), on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, located north of Utuado and Ciales; east of Hatillo; and west of Barceloneta and Florida. Your day by day itinerary now includes Cueva del Indio. Start off your visit on the 7th (Fri): Head underground at Cueva del Indio and then kick back and relax at Playa La Cueva Las Golondrinas.

Rincon

A seaside playground in the Caribbean, Rincon was a small agricultural and fishing town until it hosted the 1968 World Surfing Championship.
Faro de Punta Higuera has been added to your itinerary. Start off your visit on the 11th (Tue): look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas and then enjoy the sea views from Faro de Punta Higuera. Keep things going the next day: walk around El Faro Park.
