Do a combination of flight and bus from Reykjavik to Reykjahlid in 4 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and bus; or drive. In August in Reykjahlid, expect temperatures between 16°C during the day and 8°C at night. On the 20th (Mon), you'll have the morning to explore before heading off to Vik.

You can do a combination of bus and flight from Reykjahlid to Vik in 7.5 hours. Other options are to do a combination of bus and flight; or drive.
