Reykjavik

Reykjavik ©
Reykjavik, the world's most northerly capital, effortlessly combines small-town charm with heaps of big city energy.
Attractions like Hallgrimskirkja and Nature & Wildlife Tours make great kid-friendly stops. Do some cultural sightseeing at Thingvellir National Park and Perlan. There's much more to do: identify plant and animal life at Wildlife Areas, examine the collection at Aurora Reykjavik, steep yourself in history at Landnámssýningin/The Settlement Exhibition, and admire the masterpieces at Einar Jonsson Museum (Listasafn Einars Jonssonar).

Plan my Reykjavik trip by asking Inpirock to come up with tips and suggestions.

Jerusalem, Israel to Reykjavik is an approximately 13-hour flight. The time zone changes from Israel Standard Time (IST) to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), which is usually a -2 hour difference. Prepare for much colder weather when traveling from Jerusalem in August: high temperatures in Reykjavik hover around 16°C and lows are around 9°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 17th (Fri) so you can travel to Reykjahlid.
