Step out of Akureyri with an excursion to Spas & Wellness in Hofsos--about 1:20 hours away. On the 29th (Sat), admire the sheer force of Skogafoss, get engrossed in the history at Skogasafn, and then stroll through Black Sand Beach. On the 30th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the dramatic natural features at Sólheimajökulll, explore the striking landscape at Dyrholaey, then stroll through Reynisfjara Beach, and finally pause for some photo ops at Voyages Friendship Statue.
