Queensland’s biggest town and state capital, Brisbane has an attractive, manicured image based around its riverside aesthetic as well as the contrast between its high-rise center and extensive urban greenery.
Old St Stephen's Catholic Church (Pugin Chapel) and Nepalese Pagoda will appeal to history buffs. Museum-lovers will appreciate Queensland Art Gallery and Queensland Museum & Sciencentre. There's lots more to do: identify plant and animal life at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, see the interesting displays at Kingston butter factory art & craft cooperative community arts centre, admire the masterpieces at Gallery of Modern Art, and stop by Noosa Chocolate Factory.
