Point Lookout is a headland, small coastal town and locality on the eastern coast of North Stradbroke Island, Redland City, Queensland, Australia. Kick off your visit on the 31st (Sat): take a leisurely stroll along Amity Point Jetty, tour the pleasant surroundings at Cylinder Beach, then contemplate the waterfront views at Myora Springs Conservation Area, then enjoy the sand and surf at Frenchman's Beach, and finally take a leisurely stroll along North Gorge Walk. Queensland’s biggest town and state capital, Brisbane has an attractive, manicured image based around its riverside aesthetic as well as the contrast between its high-rise center and extensive urban greenery.
When in Brisbane, make a side trip to see Bee Gees Way in Redcliffe, approximately 46 minutes away. There's lots more to do: stroll around South Bank Parklands, admire the masterpieces at Queensland Art Gallery, look for all kinds of wild species at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, and see the interesting displays at Queensland Museum & Sciencentre.
