Surfing remains the main reason to take a trip to Tamarindo, as the beachside town is mostly known for its excellent waves.
Start off your visit on the 19th (Thu): kick back and relax at Tamarindo Beach, take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports, and then stop by EK Art Jewelry. Here are some ideas for day two: get the adrenaline pumping with an extreme tour, discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour, and then relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas.

Toronto, Canada to Tamarindo is an approximately 11-hour combination of flight and bus. You can also do a combination of flight and shuttle; or drive. Traveling from Toronto to Tamarindo, you'll gain 1 hour due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Toronto in December, expect Tamarindo to be much warmer, temps between 32°C and 32°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 20th (Fri) so you can go by car to Uvita.
