Quebec City, Canada to San Jose is an approximately 12.5- hour combination of bus and flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight; or drive. The time zone difference when traveling from Quebec City to San Jose is minus 1 hour. Surfing remains the main reason to take a trip to Tamarindo, as the beachside town is mostly known for its excellent waves.
Lydia Beech Art Boutique and Tamarindo Church are good opportunities to explore the local culture. You'll get in some beach time at Tamarindo Beach and Playa Conchal.
