Often described as the city of laptops and lederhosen, Munich is an international center of business, engineering, research, and medicine that still maintains a rich cultural heritage and age-old traditions.
On the 29th (Sat), contemplate the long history of Nymphenburg Palace (Schloss Nymphenburg) and then wander the streets of Haidhausen. Here are some ideas for day two: engage your brain at Deutsches Museum, examine the collection at Munich Residenz, and then don't miss a visit to Marienplatz.

The cultural, economic, and political center of the country, Vienna has developed from its early Celtic and Roman roots into a medieval and Baroque city, with an old town that was designated a World Heritage Site in 2001.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Belvedere Palace and Imperial Palace (Hofburg). Get some historical perspective at St. Stephen's Cathedral and Historic Center of Vienna. There's lots more to do: admire the natural beauty at Schoenbrunn Palace, see the interesting displays at Sisi Museum, take a stroll through Graben and Kohlmarkt, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Dominikanerkirche.

You can do a combination of bus and flight from Prague to Vienna in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. While traveling from Prague, expect a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Vienna, ranging from highs of 24°C to lows of 12°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 7th (Sun) so you can go by car to Budapest.

Start off your visit on the 7th (Sun): get to know the fascinating history of Castle Hill, appreciate the extensive heritage of Janoshegy, then contemplate the long history of Matthias Church, and finally contemplate the long history of Fisherman's Bastion.
