Barcelona, the country’s second-largest city, is a cosmopolitan urban center known for its throbbing youthful energy and stellar architecture.

You'll find plenty of places to visit near Barcelona: Museum of Miniatures and Microminiatures Micro Mundi (in Besalu), Collegiate Church of Saint Feliu (in Girona) and Lake Banyoles (in Banyoles). There's lots more to do: wander the streets of Barri de Gracia, appreciate the extensive heritage of Peratallada, stroll around Parque del Laberint d'Horta, and do a tasting at Nadal.
