Madrid is known for its cultural and artistic heritage, lively nightlife, and a dynamic culinary scene.
On the 10th (Sat), admire the masterpieces at Monasterio de las Descalzas Reales, then explore the galleries of Royal Palace of Madrid, and then see the interesting displays at Prado National Museum. On the next day, tour the pleasant surroundings at Retiro Park, admire the masterpieces at Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, and then examine the collection at Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza.

Take a train from Madrid to Seville in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or drive. In August in Seville, expect temperatures between 38°C during the day and 23°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 12th (Mon) early enough to travel to Ibiza Town.

As the island’s largest city and most-visited site, Ibiza is famous for its electric nightlife and lively Mediterranean culture.
Get outdoors at Platja de ses Salines and Castle of Ibiza. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Cala S'Illot des Rencli and Cala Comte. Change things up with a short trip to Cala de Sant Vicent in Sant Vicent de sa Cala (about 48 minutes away). There's still lots to do: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Ibiza Cathedral, have fun at Kentucky Derby, tour the pleasant surroundings at Cala Moli, and enjoy the sand and surf at Playa Cala Salada.

You can fly from Seville to Ibiza Town in 3 hours. Other options are to do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of train and ferry. Traveling from Seville in August, you will find days in Ibiza Town are slightly colder (35°C), and nights are about the same (26°C). Cap off your sightseeing on the 15th (Thu) early enough to travel to Barcelona.
