The Museum of Floral Culture

THE FIRST AND ONLY OF ITS KIND IN THE WORLD!

The brainchild of internationally renowned Thai floral artist Sakul Intakul, The Museum of Floral Culture is Bangkok’s newest tourist attraction. Created specially for lovers of flowers, nature and those with an interest in Thai art and culture, it focuses on Thai floral culture – an important part of the Thai way of life. The museum also features unique exhibits of important floral cultures from civilizations across Asia such as India, China, Japan, Laos and Bali/Indonesia.

The Museum of Floral Culture is located in the quiet residential area of Dusit. Built in the reign of King Rama VI, it is housed in a beautifully preserved, 100-year-old teak mansion with colonial architecture, covering a total ground area of 1,800 square meters that has been transformed into an impeccably-landscaped Thai-meets-Zen-style garden.

Dok Mai Thai Salon du Thé

Inspired by Sakul Intakul’s floral journeys through Asia, Dok Mai Thai Salon du Thé offers an enchanting repertoire of fragrant specialty teas. Some are distinctively floral, some are richly spiced, while others are just simply wonderful. Please join us to embark on your own floral journey with a cup of tea.

Event Space

The Museum of Floral Culture offers its atmospheric garden – complete with a traditional Thai pavilion – and charming Dok Mai Thai Salon du Thé for rent as a special venue for private functions. Make your wedding, product launch, business meeting or private gathering an enchanting floral experience by hosting it in this unique setting.

Workshops

The Museum of Floral Culture presents occasional workshops on traditional and contemporary Thai floral art. To receive news and updates about upcoming workshops and special events, please visit www.floralmuseum.com or become a fan of Sakul Intakul at www.facebook.com/fansofsakulintakul.

Museum Shop

Exclusive ranges of delightful floral objects are available at the Museum Shop of The Museum of Floral Culture. Carefully-curated vases, flower vessels, small floral sculptures, floral jewelry, books on floral art, floral prints, postcards, fabrics and other flower-related objet d’art make great presents or souvenirs for you to bring back home. It’s a true cabinet of floral curiosities!

  • Despite went without expecting to expect a good-luck guided tour, this place concluded that you must have a guided tour! Throughout the year, the experience of visiting the various cities of Thailand, such as Bali, Indonesia, and the rest of the city, was an unexpected light. The descriptions of the flowers in Thailand (or their own flower), influenced by various neighboring countries, were really exciting and fun-the easy of the college students in the school uniform did not get too professional, but rather understood, I was very happy to answer our questions in mid-to-middle throwing. If we looked back, it would have been a 10 minute trip, so I was lucky to have a guided tour. It was a lovely-!! It's a great place to stay. Sprinkle spray to make a good look-
