Revitalize aching muscles at Su Esthetic Home Spa. Despite being centrally located, this cozy, warmly decorated spa offers peace and quiet during your treatment. Choose from a range of therapeutic and beauty treatments, from organic facials to traditional Korean massages. The small facility serves only six guests at a time, so be sure to book ahead. While most massage treatments are traditionally Korean--an intense, quick style--the staff is willing to slow down at any point if needed. Korean Body Scrub . This business has received good reviews which made me believe that I had made a great choice to get a Korean Body Scrub. However, while I'm sure some people had some good experiences here..I found the whole process very disappointing and expensive. I was wondering why the owner tried to explain to me how they do the Korean Scrub after I had just told her that I get Korean scrubs regularly. First of all this facility does not have a steam room (necessary for Korean Scrub), they have a personal wooden tub to act as a hot tub (which is fine) and they do not have the ability to wash and scrub your body at the same time therefore the dead skin (whatever they can exfoliate) simply stays on you. I really felt that the Owner knew that she was not offering a good or authentic serve but was nonetheless unapologetic for it. In the end she simply wanted her 1,300 baht ($52.00 canadian, same service in Canada...the authentic one is $60.00). January 9, 2019 After reading the reply from the Owner I have dropped my rating down to 1 star. Condescending remarks to a Client who was dissatisfied with their treatment is simply unprofessional. While I haven't tried all the Korean Spas in Canada; I have enjoyed our local Korean Spa with my Korean Aunt & my cousins. Our favourite Korean Spa is in New York's Tribeca Neighbourhood where we have family. The Owner offers me a free treatment which is confusing, if I didn't like the treatment before, why would I want to like it now? I admit I'm confused.
Lovely ambience and great service. Very relaxing. We took the Korean body scrub, very nice and reasonably priced.
