Shop, sleep, wine and dine at State Tower, one of Thailand's tallest buildings. Sip cocktails at the sky bar, one of the highest open air bars in the world, or enjoy a gourmet meal with panoramic views of Bangkok. Not one, but two five-star hotels call the tower home. Notable architectural features include the 40-story atrium, neoclassical pediments, and 30 m (98 ft) tall golden rotunda on the rooftop. Also housed in the building are condominiums, service apartments, offices, and retail units. Put State Tower into our Bangkok trip planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

Overpriced and for what. You find much nicer rooftop bars in the city. With half the price and less. more »

From the photos on social media you can sense that it is a beautiful place, but I did not think to such extent: The dome and the staircase are the master. The clientele is made practically 85% by tourists but it is not an annoying element, or at least I did not perceive it as such. Very friendly waiters Unique "sin" is the excessively high price of cocktails, about 30 euros each, but considering the location it's worth it!
We had an INCREDIBLE experience staying here. We were immediately upgraded to the balcony level upon a 24 hour brutal flight and boy were we excited. The hotel is immaculately kept, gorgeous floral arrangements in the lobby, an attentive and professional staff and my favorite part- that ICONIC rooftop, nothing beats it. The night we visited, there was live music, a memory that is stapled in our head as a favorite. Highly recommend, we can't wait to be back.
Magical place! I was in 56 floor, and the views were amazing. The room is pretty (maybe still a bit old fashioned.) And I loved the idea of the lunch and tea time, I really enjoyed. Breakfast was awesome too!!!!
