For a budget-friendly place to shop and eat, head to Silom Night Market. This walking street is packed with food stalls with every Thai dish you can think of. Vendors line the sides of the wide street, making browsing easy and uncrowded. Past the food stalls, you will find sections for clothing, jewelry, cosmetics, electronics, watches, and more. Bargaining is welcome, so be prepared to knock prices down. Take time to enjoy some of the live music and street performers, too. To all tourist reading this and thinking of going to the SIlom Night Market. There is no such thing called the Silom Night Market. You will not find it on a map. I live right off Silom Road and... more »
Nice place tm hang out in the evening in Bangkok. Variety of stuffs to try. From the amazing food including scorpions 😁 to the different fruits (sticky rice mango) to the nice drinks from locally made juices to internationally brewed beers and spirits. Live bands everywhere catering to different audiences. You will certainly find a stand playing your favorite genre of music. And if you wanna do some shopping, you can get affordable good stuffs from locally made Thai souvenirs to foreign goods. It's a nice place!
No prices shown in the market with dubious persons wanting to take you to see a show(at your peril) which will cost a fortune. A sleazy area. No doubt you will want to visit but avoid being accosted. It will be to your detriment.
