The Princess Mother Memorial Park is a park in Bangkok, Thailand. It was established in 1993, and opened on January 21, 1997, by King Bhumibol Adulyadej, in remembrance of his mother, Srinagarindra, the Princess Mother.
The park contains gardens and a reproduction of the royal mother's childhood home, as well as two exhibition halls showing memorabilia of the princess and the royal family and a pavilion with a statue of the princess. There is also a souvenir shop which sells items from charitable foundations and social welfare organisations which used to be under her patronage; the profits go to help the poor and the destitute.
The park is located within Khlong San district, close to the banks of the Chao Phraya river, near the south end of Phra Pok Klao Bridge, on Soi Somdet Chao Phraya 3, next to the Kuan Ou Shrine.

  • Traveling on weekends for the month of September is not much hot air. Inside the Park, shady green, fresh, with a statue of the Princess mother, pray with. Before going to have the opportunity to read the book "the mother talks", makes the more sense this community atmosphere is the home that you have familiarity. The atmosphere is very good with the old walls. Stripes stucco walls, floors, beautiful gardens, the autoloader is inside the building, there is a story, we read pictures, get to know and like you more closer. Around the Park, it is interesting that there are many beautiful old houses, many beautiful Chinese shrine after strolling into the old food community. Walking Street look interesting. Use the time to stroll around town Contents of delicious edible folk.

  • There are a lot of places to see in Thailand but a visit to this memorial park doesn’t only give you a relaxing ambience in a lush garden but an insight to the life and works of the beloved Princess Mother of Thailand. There are two exhibition halls where you can learn about her life and works. The park features an actualsize model of the house where the Princess Mother was born and lived, set amid a beautifully landscaped garden. The Princess Mother passed away in 1995, two years after the memorial park was built. Photographs from her royal cremation ceremony in 1996 are also displayed here.
  • Super small but pleasant park. We weren't able to visit museum since it was public holiday.
