This is not a tourist attraction. This is real working flower market. Beautiful flowers, other items for sale but predominately flowers. Watch them make the flower offerings and funeral offerings... more »
If you want to know a bit about Thai culture, this market is a good place to visit. Flowers are an important part of Thai religion and you can see it everywhere in Thailand. Throughout the day, you will see vendors preparing flower decorations for religious offerings and selling it in large quantities. This market is mainly frequented by locals, it’s free to enter and it’s open 24 hours a day.
Fantastic market not only for flowers, but also spices, inexpensive Old Style Thai desserts, and a pretty good bowl of noodles. Very nice and helpful vendors really surprised me. The entire place acts like they are more than just working in the same location. A great place that I never thought of going to before, but from now on I will make a point of visiting again, if I find myself in that part of town.
