  • Mr. Raju and his partner Sam have to be by very far the best tailors I've ever worked with. Their service is excellent, their prices are unbeatable and their cut and style is second to none. Over the years I have taken many friends of mine over to their shop and they have all been extremely happy with their service as well. Pants, jackets, shirts, you name it, they do a great job and I love them for it. I would safely recommend them over and over again any day of the week. They are far better than any other tailor I've ever hired. Love them!!!
  • Visited this shop because it was nearby and most reviews here spoke about how good Roger was. Sadly I was very disappointed by the whole experience. I did not get to meet Roger. Only met Sam who tended to me during all the 4 visits. The shop had no other customers everytime I was there. They are definitely not overwhelmed unlike some other popular tailors. The rating is poor mostly due to the service I received than poor workmanship. I just chose to make a fixed number of shirts and suit and I accepted the price quoted without bargaining. (of course not the deal listed on the door which sounds ridiculously cheap but he would later point to a bunch of terribly old fabrics for that price point) My nightmare started after the first visit at the subsequent fittings during which i was spoken rudely towards when i made requests to narrow certain parts of shirt and pants. I thought this was the point of tailoring clothes. Instead, his tone was of disbelief and ridicule that I should accept what was recommended without trying to understand what I wanted in the first place. For example, there was no basic consideration as to whether there should be allowance at the cuffs to cater space for large men watches until i highlighted it and I was faulted for not mentioning it earlier. I also noticed the sleeves were too short only after the suit was done but was again rudely spoken to that I did not mention the day before. Subsequently i was proven right after measuring that one shirt's sleeve was indeed shorter than the other two shirt. I am quite sure experienced tailors know this and will be proactive to check and amend rather than pin the blame on me for not noticing it earlier. At collection, i highlighted some red chalk marks present on my white shirt and he first refused to do anything about it saying its no big deal and can be washed easily. When i insisted that I should have gotten a white shirt with no stains, he grudgingly scrubbed the area with water and handed it back to me. I could see smudges but i gave up trying to communicate with him and so i paid up and left because i have a flight to catch on the same day and i really could not stand staying much longer. I think i managed to get a semblance of what i wanted in the shirts and suit after insisting on my preferences but for a tailoring process it was certainly disappointing and unexpected. If you are not so experienced with tailors, i suggest you look for another who will be more patient. Maybe things would be different with Roger. Please insist on Roger the boss if you do come here. The weirdest thing was that Sam told me to say I merely passed by the shop instead of being introduced through google, if I happen to meet Roger. I'm not sure why but I'm sure there was something up his sleeves.
