In one hands-on from-scratch class, Chef LeeZ Thai Cooking Class Bangkok teaches you to cook traditional Thai cuisine just like grandma made it. During your half-day class, you'll learn to cook a dozen different dishes--this means that the per-cost dish here is far less than at other Thai cooking classes (which offer 3-4 dishes). With class sizes averaging 5-7 students, you receive interpersonal attention, a big reason why these classes have been Bangkok's top-rated on TripAdvisor since 2011. Everyone is welcome--families, meat lovers, vegetarians, vegans, virgin cooks, and accomplished chefs. The instructor also adjusts each student's ingredients according to his/her individual dietary needs. What I enjoyed about this the most was the number of dishes we got to make. The recipes she gives you goes beyond what you did in class. It was super cool learning how to crack open a coconut and prop... more »
Second time I did visit Chef LeeZ and her cooking class. the food prepared during the class is out of this world, it is simply the best Thai food you will have had on your trip. Using only fresh ingredients and learning about the small details of how to make a perfect Tom Yum or curry is entertaining and at the end very tasty. Chef LeeZ is a fantastic lady, her passion for her food and teaching people about it comes through in everything she does. Her team is attentive and doing a great job. I took the water taxi back from the class which was a really great experience to see some more of Bangkok and the sites you probably won't visit as a tourist otherwise.
Awesome experience! Our class had just 5 people in it and we each received lots of personal attention. We learned how to make Pad Thai, curry, mango rice, many soups and more. This class is more pricey than others but I feel it was worth it. Very organized class. Plan 45+ minutes to travel here since it is outside the city, but they helped us get a metered taxi back.
