ChangChui Creative Park Reviews
Nice but not much shops inside, few of parking space. Limited of proper restaurant, only stall food. more »
Visited during a weekday evening, void of human activities, most shops were closed for the day. impressed with the art installations and grounds were easy to navigate. good for inspiration more »
A great place to visit. First of all I arrived there at around 3PM and left at around 5PM so my comments can only be pertinent to this time bracket, I'm sure it gets much busier as it gets darker. If you go there before things start to kick off you better be either into photography or arts or both. Some shops and food outlets are opened, yes, but it's kind of quiet. Plenty of things to shoot or just to look at though: murals, graffiti, sculptures, exhibitions, a plane right in the middle of the village and a helicopter somewhere on a bar's roof. There is a car park but if you go there by car or bike you'd better know your way out because sign roads as far as I saw are all in Thai. If you're a tourist you'd better ask your hotel to find you a reliable taxi driver who'll know the way and not pretend to once there, get lost and charge you a fortune. Also, know that the car park entrance is not on Sirindhorn Rd. itself. Instead turn left in the first road after you've passed the market (on your left). And turn left again. Drive 500 meters and park your car. Also in the area, people don't necessarily speak English some people call this market aircraft market.
Very unique market with live music, street food, fine dining and art! Loved the local wares, picked up a cute tote bag from Wonderfriend (I wanted to buy everything). Try the Lucky Coin noodles and get a cocktail inside the airplane. Worth the drive from Bangkok city center.
