It was low season already, unfortunately many of the restaurants were already closed.
Pasear por el puerto y notar la brisa del mar es agradable. Bastantes restaurantes por la zona. What was and what is, before the Olympics I was degraded and all change to better.
Really nice place for a walk all through the year, and also get into the water in late spring/summer. Just be aware of the crowd in summer - your beach neighbour might be less than a metre away. It also has nice piers were you can enjoy the nice view of the open sea and have a drink or a meal
We visited this as part of our tour through Barcelona. We were told about the history including the time the USA dream team refused to stay in the already built accommodation for the Olympics. It was a very nice place to stop and soak up the atmosphere. Due to the weather being on point, we were able to get some nice pictures. In the area there is the beach and the docks for the boats. Worth a look at if your walking around Barcelona or doing a tour.
