History, fame, and fantasy come to life at Museu de Cera de Barcelona, where eerily realistic wax figures, from emperors to celebrities, are on display. They pose together in tableaus that recreate stills from iconic films, combine artists of the past with contemporary ones, or depict historical moments. In the Bosc de les Fades or "Forest of Fantasy," walk into a realm of magic inhabited by fairies, gnomes...and a cafe. That's right, among the twisted tree trunks you'll find a smiling bartender eager to mix you a drink. Consider purchasing an all-inclusive ticket to the main museum attraction, the Bosc de les Fades, and the design boutique Passatage Del Temps. With this ticket, you'll also receive a souvenir photograph, a guidebook, and a 10 percent discount at the cafe and gift shop.  With our world travel planner, Barcelona attractions like Museu de Cera de Barcelona can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

  • I will say so-this museum of wax figures is quite different from the museums that I have seen so far. There are few figures of modern figures, there are no celebrity figures here. There are a lot of historical figures, also characters from films (Bonnie and Clyde, even ET) and fairy tales (Snow White, Alice from Wonderland, Pinocchio, Red Riding Hood). When it comes to modern people, this is e.g. Prince Charles of Kamila. I personally liked me very much.

  • Absolutely loved this experience! It is a MUST with audio as the story and history behind each scene is very important. And even more interesting if you already have some knowledge of Barcelona. Really enjoyed this and highly recommend it
  • Packed full of older figures of well known Spanish notables as well as more up to date figure. Also other important ppl of other nationalities. A bit dark inside, but good nevertheless
