La Fianna Reviews
We stumbled upon this (almost hidden) bar when we needed a place for a 'night-cap' and saw some local students walk in. The bar area had a fantastic vibrant atmosphere and we were incredibly shocked.... more »

It's been a long time coming for this review. La Fianna tapas restaurant was my first real Spanish Tapas experience and to be Frank..one of the best I've had. The ambiance is dim and intimate, and the service is good but slow. When I say slow, it's not because they don't care, it's because they do care and I think that's just the culture here. I feel like they like to give people time to chit chat, converse and time to look at the menu. Anyway, off my cultural soap box. All the food we picked were spectacularly presented, flavors were phenomenal, and I had to issue with the service. Sangria was different, not like what I'm used to in the US. It's actually more crisp. People who are used to getting drunk off Sangria will be disappointed. The location is a bit off the beaten path, therefore not along the tourist traps along the main road. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get an economical Spanish tapas experience.
Great place, nice feeling, very good appetizers, very tasty but small portions of main dishes, good wines and deserts. The staff is a little disoriented when there is a lot of people. Definitely a place to try, but I was not that much excited for five stars. Overall a very positive feeling.
