  • Plaza Catalunya several goddesses, if we talk about the sculptures. If we talk about women-goddess of all! This sculpture most conspicuous. First of all, due to the fact that stands alone (other sculptures are located in the opposite side of the square). The second solution, which it secretes: she stands among the water surface. From the small size of the sculpture becomes more visible. The original sculpture moved into the Museum. Now here is a copy. But details not visible from afar, and I do not think that copy strongly inferior to the original! Sit side by side on a bench, admire.

  • Strolling through the Plaça Catalunya, spotted this beautiful marble goddess, created in Paris in 1909 by the Catalan sculptor and awarded a medal at the exhibition in Amsterdam. It is a real decoration of the square. Be Sure to look at Dreamy kind of beauty in the style of Ar nouveau.

  • The Sculpture "La Diosa," the Goddess (Catalan: La Deesa), was originally created in 1928 by Joseph Claré. However, the Sculpture, exhibited today at Plaza de Catalunya, is a 1982 work by Sculptor Richard Sala. It depicts a young Woman half-kneeling on a Stone Slab as the Focal point in a Pool of Water that Delights viewers. The White Marble sculpture testifies to an Elegance that suits Catalan Women. The Design is figuratically modern and graceful, which is underlined by the smooth Design. Among the various Sculptures depicted in this Square, the Work of Sala stands out gracefully.
