  • Whether you are a cheese lover, and you want to treat, as if you are going to a dinner and want to get along with something to chop, it is one of the best places in Barcelona to go buy them... Very good treatment and advice, and have a lot of plug-ins for the pica-pica... Products of high quality, and very reasonable prices! It has a couple of seats away to make a wine! Highly recommended!

  • You can find cheese in Barcelona in most markets, often Spanish, local cheeses or even the classics of France, Switzerland and Italy. But finding cheese that I would call exceptional, there are not dozens of addresses in the city. It is in the District of Gracia is a fantastic cheese factory on behalf of "Luc Can". A name that sounds french and c which is the case since the owner this store of food is a sure Luke Talbordet who lives in Barcelona since more than 15 years and who is an expert in cheese. A very rigorous selection, the best of the best. Definitely the place not to be missed under any circumstances if you are a cheese lover and someone who seeks perfection in the field. A very pretty interior where you kept the brick structures, a work plan, shelves here and there, but mostly a series of refrigerated cabinets. Cheeses of artisans from various regions, of course Spain but also of foreign craftsmen. According to say, more than 150 kinds of course according to the seasons and the arrivals. It includes not only dairy products but also a nice selection of bottles, sauces, mustards, jams, chutneys, preserves style fish and shellfish but France, cookies, just to name a few products. You will be impressed to find as many blue including British like Stilton, of course the range of cheeses of Burgundy, region of origin of Luke. Epoisses, Chablis, Vézelay and others. In another Cabinet, hard pasta that have nothing to envy to soft cheeses, pecorino, the Tomme, Basque cheeses and even of the Appenzeller of Switzerland. A selection of wine rather sharp and you will appreciate for example to find the 'specific' wines of the Rioja of Olivier River. Certainly if you are in need of french cheeses, it won't be hard to find your happiness but in my case it's today the cheeses that interest me. The team did everything it could to so advise me the best. As for example this undermining of Espinelves, goat cheese raw milk to semi-hard dough of the Girona region, which has a thick crust of the color of the stone grey with possibly a few multicolored dark spots and rust yellow or white, one cheese releasing a slight smell of MOSS and mushrooms. Rich and complex aromas of toasted nuts and butter. A beautiful cheese rustic taste rich, ideal for those who appreciate the cheese. A small wonder for fans of powerful cheeses with the Taüll Formatgeria, green cheese thing. Thing is a tender salty cheese salt, which matures for fifteen days and evolves up to thirty. Creamy and tasty, this cheese has won the "Gold Medal of goat cheese" acid quail of the contest of artisanal cheeses from the fair of Sant Ermengol in Seu d'Urgell. Presentation of the Turp of Oliva in milk raw goat and a longer maturation (about 20 to 25 days in the cellar) with natural mold. A cylindrical form of 8 cm in diameter and 2 or 3 high and about 250gr of weight, it is designed to be enjoyed by its compact Interior and near taste of the Blues, a little spicy but very nice. He also awarded with a silver medal at the same fair in 2014. Another cheese with the Uff of Mas Alba, nice and creamy milk goat cheese in the mouth. A peculiar smell of beer, toasted and fruity, notes that combine well with a slightly acid taste and tropical fruits. Payoyo here or rather covered with paprika, goat cheese, pepper of Andalusia and organic, produced in the village of Villaluenga del Rosario (Cádiz). It is named after the goat breed whose milk is used to make the cheese. These goats live in the mountains that surround the village, which gives them a varied diet every year because of the rugged territory. Here's just a few targeted examples of local, rare, cheeses with small productions. We could describe other cheeses or other regions of Spain or another country, but the goal is to achieve that this cheese offers a great range of products. Don't forget other products mentioned above or even lovers of raclettes and fondues will find their happiness. A very nice trade in Gracia.

  • Had a "cheese tower", crafted by two gentlemen who work here. The detail and planning that they put into it, I knew it was going to be an experience to remember. The cheeses were then paired with jams and crackers according to their types.
  • Definitely a place to go ! You want good cheeses, large choice, advices, spend a great moment debating on what to buy... You want to discover French cheeses ? Go there !!!
