  • Headquarters of the historical archive of the city of Barcelona since 1921. The ecclesiastical hierarchy of the Archdeacons lived in this building since the 12th century, when the Cathedral began to take its current Gothic form. He had multiple reforms, the most significant in the 16th century a Gothic structure of Renaissance decoration, columned courtyard, Gallery, staircase and central fountain. In 1870, the House was purchased and remodeled and joined with the neighbouring House of the Dega. The courtyard became cloister with these reforms. In 1895 became the headquarters of the Bar Association in 1902 commissioned architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner the decoration of the building, including the modernist mailbox on the facade. Finally, in 1920 it became property of the city of Barcelona. The Roman wall is visible from inside the building, on the ground floor. In the yard there is a large Palm tree and the source that the day of Corpus Christi is decorated with a "l'ou com balla.

  • This casa also acts as museum but unfortunately was closed on the day of our visit. Interesting though is the mailbox from the hand of architect l. Domènech i Montaner. This gives a direct reference to one of the purposes of this House: Palace of Justice and college of lawyers. The mail box shows how the law works. It would be fast as n swallow should work but because of the difficulties and bureaucracy around themselves (as imagined by the klimoo) it works but so slow as a turtle.

  • Really loved this place that has a lot of history. On the gate you can find they sympol of Justice, Spanich logo, turtle and birds each represents something that has to do with the judicial system that should be quick as birds, just as the scale, represents the country; however it is sometimes slow as a turtle.
  • Small but a very beautiful hidden niche downtown. I really enjoyed the fountain
