Take in the views of El Yunque rainforest from Torre Britton, which sits at an elevation of 941 m (3,088 ft). Take a short hike through the lush forest to reach the peak, where an observation tower offers panoramic views of the jungle below. On a clear day the views stretch as far as the eye can see, but cloudy weather can limit visibility. Wear appropriate footwear and take care on the sometimes slippery, though paved paths. Take a break from your hike at one of the rest stations located along the pathway. This was one of the most amazing hikes I've undertaken in my life. Amazing views from here. This one is pretty steep but anyone could do it with some effort. The pathway is good and well maintained. It's easy to park nearby. After a hard trek, delicious food is nearby as well. Overall a wonderful experience.
The trail to Mt. Britton is well kept, and safe. The tower at the end lacks any inside illumination on the stairs, so watch your step and prepare to spend some of your phone battery in the flashlight, although is really brief and the view is worth it There are more zones to see other than the tower, so mind going with some spare time, as the park has fixed closing hours, and don't want to lose sunlight on your way down
