Enjoy the soothing feeling of warm water flowing around as you soak in Reykjadalur Hot Springs. Set within the beautiful Icelandic landscape of bubbling hot pots, mud pools, rocky cliffs, and misty fields with rising steam clouds, this "smoky valley" sits just 40 minutes' drive from Reykjavík. The hike to the springs on gravel paths and duckboards is fairly easy, but you'll still have to watch your step and dress appropriately. Keep an eye for the Djupagilsfoss waterfall as you walk along the canyon. Amenities include restrooms and a cafe near the car park, as well as changing screens near the springs.
